Have you ever heard yourself utter these two familiar words "God Can't..." Whatever your situation, you may have looked at the utter hopelessness of it and said "God can't"...and you fill in the blank as it pertains to you and your concept of God and the gigantic situation you feel, the dark shadows that overwhelm and the enormity of the situation. It may be your circumstance, another person or yourself, whatever the circumstance, you have concluded as you have "listened" to yourself, "God Can't..." But do you really want to know what  "God Can't..." do for you?

Firstly, "God Can't .. Fail you."  For love never fails. The word Paul uses for "fail" in 1 Corinthians 13 is that which was used of a leaf that, falling from a tree, lies on the ground and decays. "God can't fail you"- because love never fails and God is love. So the next time the enemy without or doubts within arise to attack the character of God to you, whispering  into your ear these familiar words "God can't..." remember to swiftly answer "God can't fail me for Love never fails and God is love."

Secondly,  "God  Can't... Forget you." It is possible for us to forget our keys, a verse, an address, a name... but "God Can't ...Forget you" - for your Name is  written upon His hands, your name is written in His Book of Life. No beloved, "God Can't..." forget you!

Thirdly, "God Can't... Forsake you ". No matter who abandons you "God Cant!"  He has said " I will never , no never leave or forsake you. God CAN'T! God can't fail you, God Can't Forget you, God Can't Forsake you because GOD IS FAITHFUL!  {1 Cor. 1:9}.

Circumstances may or may not change, people may or may not change but no change Jehovah knows! He is always faithful to Himself, His Word and His People- "God Can't!..." People may fail you, forget you and even forsake you, But God Can't..." What comfort there is in these two words "God Can't" when viewed from His promises because of His character. THE BOTTOM LINE? DON'T SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM HIS CHARACTER when viewing life! - You are loved.*

GOD NEVER FAILS
1 Corinthians 13:8- "Love never fails.."

GOD NEVER FORGETS
Isaiah 49:15-16 "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget,I will not forget you!  See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;      your walls are ever before me."

GOD NEVER FORSAKES
Hebrews 13:5-6 - "because God has said, "Never will I leave you;  never will I forsake you." 6So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

GOD IS FAITHFUL
Hebrews 6:13- 20 - " 13When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself, saying, "I will surely bless you and give you many descendants."And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. Men swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."

GOD IS LOVE
1 John 4:16- " And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love."... and "Love  Cant Fail"

It was the former missionary to Inland China, Hudson Taylor who in his latter years of service often spoke on  the Faithfulness of God and would say "HOLD, THAT GOD IS FAITHFUL."

Whatever your lot, your storm or perplexity, in the midst of swirling emotions and circumstances ask God to help you come to experientially know  and rest your faith on Him and in particular that He is trustworthy, reliable and faithful! As a result taking Him at His Word. Know, beloved and perhaps storm tossed one, SPEAK TO YOURSELF THESE WORDS
 "GOD CAN'T... FAIL ME; "
    "GOD CAN'T ...FORGET ME; "
"GOD CAN'T FORAKE  ME..." WHY NOT? BECAUSE ...
                                    GOD IS FAITHFUL - 1 Corinthians 1:9

Verse of the Day

"Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure." - Philippians 2:12-13
